Ένα αποκαλυπτικό βίντεο, με το τι μετέφεραν οι ΗΠΑ, τις προηγούμενες ημέρες, στο λιμάνι της Αλεξανδρούπολης, με το μεταγωγικό πλοίο ARC Independence, δημοσιοποίησε η Αμερικανική πλευρά, προκαλώντας υστερία στον φιλοκυβερνητικό τουρκικό τύπο, που γράφει ότι η Ελλάδα, γίνεται μία μεγάλη στρατιωτική βάση των ΗΠΑ και πως απειλεί την Τουρκία με εισβολή, ενώ αυτή τη στιγμή που μιλάμε, στο τουρκικό έδαφος λειτουργούν πολλές περισσότερες βάσεις των Αμερικανών, κάτι που όμως εντέχνως οι Τούρκοι δημοσιογράφοι, αποφεύγουν να αναφέρουν. Ενώ λοιπόν παρακολουθούμε αποσπάσματα από το εν λόγω βίντεο, όπου βλέπουμε το Αμερικανικό μεταγωγικό πλοίο να καταφτάνει το λιμάνι της Αλεξανδρούπολης, να έχουμε εικόνα από το εσωτερικό του και να ξεφορτώνει δεκάδες οχήματα αλλά και στρατιωτικά ελικόπτερα, να πούμε ότι παρότι αυτό το υλικό προορίζεται για το rotation, δηλαδή την εναλλαγή και αντικατάσταση των ήδη υπαρχουσών Αμερικανικών δυνάμεων στην Ευρώπη, κάποιοι αναλυτές λένε ότι σχετίζεται και με το νέο αμυντικό δόγμα της νέας Αμερικανικής κυβέρνησης, που θέλει να μειώσει τη Ρωσική επιρροή, στην Ευρωπαϊκή ήπειρο και να επανασυστήσει τη συμμαχική δύναμη του ΝΑΤΟ, κάνοντας την πιο ισχυρή και αποφασιστική.
